If anyone is interested in the John Elliott AF1, quick heads up on sizing.... Stay true to size, don't size down these fit snugger than your regular AF1

I prepped the area with acetone and painted over it with a couple of coats of flat black angelus

Here is my pair that I painted over the weekend, must say they came out perfect. Personally I prefer this to the KATRINA, for me I picked up new white cements on the low.

Did you strip the OG paint or just paint over it?

I picked these up just to convert them to White Cement 3's.

Not available locally, no shops around here that stock this..we have a bare bones Footlocker and a finish line that stocks basically outlet stuff.
