They were swept in 2001, lost Game 7 at home in 2006, lost 4-1 to a 6-seed in 2009, lost to an 8-seed in 2011, & were up 2-0 in 2004 & 2012.

@DrewUnga they dont have HCA last year. But they did choke also. Up 3-2 with game 6 on their home floor.

Swept in 01 with HCA
Lost in 04 with HCA (were up 2-0)
Lost in 06 in game 7 with HCA
Lost in 09 in RD 1 with HCA to a 6 seed
Lost in 2011 in RD 1 with HCA to an 8 seed
Lost in 2012 with HCA (were up 2-0)

Swept in Rd 2 in 2010 (they were the lower seed tho)
Lost in 2015 in RD 1 up 3-2 at home for Game 6 to the Clippers

Lost 4-1 to the Lakers in 02, and in 08

And of course, the epic choke vs the Heat in the Finals. Up 3-2 and losing that game 6.

They gonna lose another series with HCA and having a 2-1 series lead? :nerd:

David West, Duncan, Manu, and Tony Parker all took less pay for this?

Pop losing to Doc Rivers and Billy Donovan back to back years?

Ain't gon jinx it. Just sit back and watch.

Is this a list of retired players?

Looks like it.

Interesting that a power forward could tally that number of rebounds and blocks seeing as how it's the center's job to anchor the paint and stay as close to the rim as possible [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Also interesting that all the other players on the top 5 of those categories are designated as centers [emoji]129300[/emoji]

What does it matter what position he did it at?

Duncan will retire as one of the all time greats. Whether you put him in the top 5 or top 50, whether he's the GOAT PF or just a top 10 center, his legacy remains.

Tim unless *** Duncan can finally retire. Dude has been worthless in the playoffs.

Slight difference between goat and top 10 . Also he played the 5 even more in the playoffs than he did in the regular season.

If it didn't matter he would've never tried to fabricate himself as a power forward.

Calling him the goat PF is like saying Robert horry>Michael jordan

Even if Duncan played all of his time at PF, I'm sure there would be plenty of people to not consider him the GOAT PF. It's all subjective.

There's plenty of people who don't consider Jordan to be the GOAT or GOAT SG and give that title to Kobe.

I don't necessarily think there's a huge drop off from being the GOAT PF to being a top 10 center when you look at who's on that list.

Kareem
Wilt
Bill Russell
Shaq
?
