I witnessed this 1st hand last week and I'm like that's why they're rocking them now.  Anyhow, I just put in an order the Beats Pros Detox Edition.  Hopefully, I'll receive them before NYE.  FYI, Monster is having a refurbished sale on their Beats headphones as well.

i got studios i use for recording music, their dope to bump with but when recording i feel they oversaturate the beat and pay less attention to the vocals even when turning the beat down,thats just my opinion

In all honesty this post kills all hype. I keep these in my studio. They're perfect. Beats By Dres are not for mixing. Casual listening ....over priced.

I have the soul sl300 just got them yesterday,,, and I also have beats studio,,, the studios have better bass,,, but the sl300 have a better all around,,, but I still have to brak in the 300

Sound quality is pretty good though I think most people go crazy over the bass. Im pleased with mind outside of the MAJOR leakage when the volume is turned up past the halfway mark. Bose tho,
